As a Licensed Practical Nurse you will:
•Obtain vitals, record the patient’s history, and update records in an accurate and confidential manner
•Give medication as prescribed and monitoring reactions and effectiveness of medication
•Take vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, oxygen saturation and weight
•Basic wound care including cleaning and bandaging injured areas, ensuring patients are healing properly and observing patient skin for breakdown
•Explain treatments and procedures to patients and families and is familiar with resolving
patient /family concerns.
•Providing oversight to Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
• Associate degree or Diploma in Nursing from an Accrediting School of Nursing.
• Valid Maryland LPN license required
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years’ experience
