We Are Hiring:
Part time Medical Assistant Gastroenterology Office. Great Schedule of 4 days a week! Monday – Thursday 8am to 5pm. No evenings, weekends, or Holidays.
Medical Assistant experience with rooming, scribe, and scheduling experience is needed. This position will work at our Joliet, IL location once a week.
This role is eligible for a $750.00 sign-on bonus, provided you successfully complete all pre-employment requirements subject to the terms and conditions of the offer. Former associates of six months or less are not eligible.
What You Will Do:
Assist with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.
- Assist with treatments ordered by physician as supervised by physician or registered nurse.
- Perform select clinical duties.
- Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients’ charts.
- Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients.
- Perform basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.
- Perform basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
What You Will Need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Medical Assistant preferred.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
