Essential Job Functions
Nimble and enthusiastic about design across all platforms, the Graphic Designer will be able to tackle projects from large scale signage in resort to digital executions that reach our global guest. The Graphic Designer will consider and strategize traffic flow both in resort, as well as across our digital platforms when creating assets to support the team. Flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is necessary in this role.
The budgeted starting point for this position is at $56,435. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience, all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.
Essential Job Functions
- The Graphic Designer’s primary role will be to support the Creative Team within the Marketing Department. You will work closely with the Creative Marketing Manager, under their supervision, to ensure all deadlines are met and brand standards are adhered to.
- Execute designs from start to finish, conceptualizing new ideas, designing and presenting, and producing final files
- Design posters, flyers, banners, social ads, photo resizing, internal PowerPoint presentations, templates, and other collateral for both digital and print assets
- Communicate directly with internal team members
- Liaise with cross-departmentally with internal stakeholders, as assigned.
- Responsible for completing projects and preparing them for production, and sending them through to internal and/or external vendors, as required.
- Work with manager on tactics and strategies for marketing initiatives
- Assist on photo shoots, as required
- Be a self-starter, highly organized and skilled on personal time management
- Basic understanding of media planning and creating results through ongoing optimization
- Detail oriented and able to manage several projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in design field required
- 2-3 years of design experience
- Full proficiency in design programs including Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Adobe Premier and After Effects is a plus.
- The knowledge and ability to create print and digital ready files, from start to finish, ready for production, is required
- Ability to communicate timely and effectively through both written and verbal means
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as SharePoint is required
- General proof reading, copy writing and editing skills
- Photo editing skills
- Experience within the ski/outdoor industry, travel and resort industry, and general love of the outdoors is a plus
- Fluent in English
- Multi-Lingual is a plus

Given: No supervision given.
Received: Works under general supervision of the Creative Marketing Manager. Receives continuing or individual assignments according to supervisor’s directions and may perform routine tasks. Expectations of the quality, quantity and deadlines are clearly set. Instructions, advice and assistance available as needed. Work is reviewed on demand or during scheduled check-ins.

It is about 85% sitting and 15% standing with the need to occasionally be able to move up to 25 lbs. This job is located in Aspen, Colorado and the candidate must be able to come into the office at least 3 times per week.
