Position Overview
Provide high quality catalogs, advertising and OB sales support materials through professionally executed graphic production, design and layout. The Graphic Designer will work with the Senior Art Director to create and execute layouts to represent our products to customers in the most appealing and compelling manner possible. The Graphic Designer will partner with Product Development and Marketing channels to deliver channel-specific product graphics and layouts in the form of catalog pages, web images, Outbound support materials, and Direct Mail as directed by the Senior Art Director and Creative Director. The Graphic Designer is accountable for meeting project deadlines, while also maintaining high standards of accuracy, marketing best practices, and strong visual effectiveness, as well as driving continuous improvement while always demonstrating the company’s I-CARE value system.
Essential Functions, Duties & Accountabilities Produce High-Quality Marketing Materials to Best Represent the Product * Ensure that all product visuals and graphic layouts present the product in the most compelling manner possible, while following marketing best practices and published legal/ethical/brand guidelines.
Partner with Product Development and Marketing * Understand the requirements and parameters of each new project while executing Creative layouts which deliver to internal marketing partners the best possible realization of their marketing goals and objectives.
Meet All Project Deadlines and Priorities * Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a willingness to re-prioritize personal workload as required in order to meet deadlines imposed by Senior Art Director, Creative Director, or individual Product and Marketing partners as appropriate.
Maintain High Standards for Accuracy and Visual Impact * Ability to understand the product well enough to avoid errors, inaccuracies, or misrepresentations of any kind. Strong attention to detail, as well as willingness to ask questions regarding any directives which are unclear.
Additional Functions, Duties & Accountabilities * Maintain flexibility in work schedule to meet business needs.
Requirements Educational Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Graphic Arts, Design, or Marketing or equivalent experience.
Experience and Skills * At least three years of relevant graphic arts and layout experience for a marketing or retail sales organization.
