Astor Chocolate is seeking a Marketing Designer to support our sales team by creating compelling marketing materials to help engage and grow our expanding customer base.
The Marketing Designer will take the lead role in communicating Astor’s premium offerings, by designing collateral such as Brochures, catalogs, mailings, email blasts, website banners, and various advertising mediums.
The Marketing Designer will be responsible for:
- Developing and designing all sales & trade materials; including email blasts, website banners, sell sheets, brochures, catalogs, and customer collateral
- Design, Schedule and Maintain a 12 Month Marketing Calendar of email blasts, mailings, seasonal promotions, website content uploads, and National Account Campaigns
- Be responsible for all trade show activities – Product presentation, Booth appearance and Signage, Videos, Layout, & Promotions
- Effectively communicate new product launches to our customers, via proper channels of communication. (Sales Meetings, Mailings, Email Blasts, Websites, PR, Advertising, etc.)
- Essential contributor in performing research related to market trends, competitive practices, product mix, segments and customer behavior. Reporting this information to sales on a monthly basis.
- Maintain and update the marketing channel portal via a Salesforce customer database of Astor/Le Belge Customer contacts for mailings, email blasts, telemarketing and sales calls.
- Responsible for the project management of the Astor Foodservice/Hospitality Websites with product content (images), category/home page hero displays, graphics design, and updates to the site, working closely with the Creative Sweet and Digital department.
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years’ directly related experience, some HTML, photography, and Expert Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
- Copywriting, analytical, communication, creative, and presentation skills
- Solid project management skills; capable of meeting deadlines
