Awards4U is seeking a skilled Production Artist to join our team. This position offers great hours and an opportunity to work for a well-known local company with over 35 years dedicated to serving the Tallahassee community.
The ideal candidate is creative, enjoys working at a fast pace and will share our commitment to exceeding customer expectations by exhibiting a strong knowledge of our products, detailed and timely communication as well as a commitment to completing jobs on time. Responsible for layout design, modification, and implementation of customer provided content and client projects. This includes the creation of art and some elements of graphic design.

Qualifications and Expectations:
- Strong computer skills with the ability to adapt to new programs used to create and modify art layouts
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typing skills: 40-50 CWPM
- Attention to detail with excellent spelling/grammar skills
- An interest in creative design
- Capacity for solving practical problems
- Professional, dependable, and punctual
- Organized and detail oriented
- Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on representing the company in a positive manner during all interactions with customers (phone, email and in person)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Work both independently and as a team
- Background check will be performed
Job Description:
Production Artists typeset and create art using elements of graphic design based on customer specific requirements. This position works directly with our sales team, customers, other artists, machine operators and assemblers to produce the highest quality products in the most efficient way possible. Close attention to detail, proofreading, problem solving as well as strong follow up skills are essential. In addition to working on a computer, full production or preparation of certain items including assembly, paint, or other decoration methods, may be needed.
Required Schedule:
- Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
- Overtime required upon short notice, as needed
