Role and Responsibilities
Reporting directly to VP of Character Education, the Senior Motion Graphic Designer is responsible for the creation of all digital content and high- quality 2D animation to share the because I said I would message. As the Motion Graphic Designer you will work closely with staff developing creative and impactful images.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities in these areas include but are not limited to:

• Design:
• Design new graphics and modify existing graphics for organization programs and services, including banners, flyers, packaging, website content, social media, presentations and other promotional materials.
• Design infographics and other visual elements that clearly communicate complex messages and concepts.

• Creates graphics, animations and sounds as needed.

• Pre-Production:
• Script, storyboard, allocate resources and set deadlines for projects.

• Production:
• Creating and compositing 2-D motion graphics
• Determines lighting needs, sets audio, and positions video camera to determine appropriate shots of persons and objects.
• Operates appropriate video cameras, audio recorders, lighting fixtures, audio-mixing boards, and related A/V production equipment when required.

• Post Production:
• Creates graphic elements based on company brand standards.
• Gathers various elements for postproduction including graphics, on-camera video recordings, audio recordings, pre-designed animation elements and stock assets.
• Researches stock footage, music and images; obtains proper licensing for assets.
• Post production work including, but not limited to, color correction, stabilization, and effects
• Edits and verifies content for accuracy and aesthetic value.
• Prepares completed projects for online distribution, including encoding, compression, resolution and aspect ratio.
• Organize and manage digital assets in a library/archive

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in digital media, design, art or similar
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar position
• 3 years’ experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, InDesign and Illustrator.
• Have concise and professional communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure without compromising performance or accuracy in a deadline-oriented environment
• Works effectively with others in a collaborative team environment
• Can work independently with minimal supervision, while able to follow direction
• Ability to think creatively
• Strong organizational skills. Attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Skills
Demo Reel or portfolio previous motion design work

• Bachelor of Arts, Graphic Design, Motion Graphics or comparable field experience is encouraged
• Audio Editing Experience
