Buzz Brands – Corporate Hiring for Junior Graphic Designer Job at Virginia Beach, VA Full Time

Buzz Franchise Brands is a fast-growing, multi-brand franchising company providing key services to people, homes, and businesses. Our portfolio includes the Pool Scouts, Home Clean Heroes, and British Swim School brands. We’re looking for a skilled junior graphic designer to join our growing team. This position is based at our company headquarters in Virginia Beach, VA. The Junior Graphic Designer will report to the Senior Graphic Designer and support marketing efforts for our franchise brands. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and motivated, a strong team player, and a great fit with our passionate, fun, and energetic culture. Key Responsibilities

• Work in collaboration with the Senior Graphic Designer and broader marketing team to support marketing and communications strategies for our brands; includes key initiatives tied to customer recruitment and retention and additional business goals at local franchisee and national levels.
• Design, develop, re-format, and re-size assets that cross every brand touchpoint, including website graphics, social media content, digital ads, email templates, print materials, infographics, promotional items, and other similar marketing materials supporting both corporate and individual franchisee initiatives.
• Assist Senior Graphic Designer in designing collateral to support key corporate events, such as annual conventions and other company meetings.
• Support execution of photography and videography projects as needed for design materials or other marketing communication needs.
• Ensure all designs and layouts stay within brand guidelines across all media.
• Communicate with relevant marketing partners such as printers, agencies, etc., as directed by Senior Graphic Designer.
• Present all work to brand teams for review and use feedback from multiple team members to hone skills and improve designs.
• Educate team and franchisees on graphic design deliverables and digital/print specifications as needed.
• Other content marketing tasks as assigned, dependent upon experience.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in art, graphic design, media arts, marketing, or related field
• Minimum one year of professional graphic design experience
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong command of visual design and current design and marketing trends
• Highly organized; ability to coordinate multiple, deadline-driven tasks within creative parameters

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic photo and video editing skills
• Experience writing and editing copy for marketing projects
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, website development, and web-based content management systems
