Product Photographer & Graphic Designer
Summary
Cellairis is searching for a detail-oriented, creative, and business-minded candidate who have experience in ecommerce imagery with additional graphic skills. Our ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current retouching software. Collaborating with product development, the photographer will collect samples (sometimes unfinished), and created polished images for packaging, ecommerce, and slicks. Taking direction from the Senior Designer and marketing, you will also provide lifestyle images for marketing deliverables and social posts. The candidate must be an organized multitasker who is able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.
Objectives of this Role
- Operating a camera and using Photoshop, conceptualize and create photos that meet business goals
- Obtain input from Senior Designer, ensuring photos meet current ecommerce standards and brand expectations
- Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with marketing and product development team, meeting deadlines and budget constraints
- Examine existing processes and file management system, identifying flaws and creating solutions to improve design capabilities
- Update and maintain internal databases of photography, designs, and video
Photography Responsibilities
- Receive sample from product development or warehouse, create imagery for ecommerce, packaging, and product slicks, based on current guidelines
- Provide lifestyle imagery for sales presentation, marketing assets, and social media
- For lifestyle photography without human presence, conceptualize and execute. With execution, you may have to collect props and create the environment inside the office.
- For lifestyle images with human presence, we normally composite the product into stock images. Image manipulation and lightning skills are highly important.
- Research new software or retouching concepts
Additional Graphic Design Skills
With a small creative team, Cellairis prefers candidates with broader skillsets. Have a mindset willing to learn new skills, as you may be asked to perform other duties during peak times.
- Knowledge of WordPress and content management systems a plus
- With product development, work on technical spec docs, packaging, products slicks
- Sales presentations and corporate communications
- Call out ecommerce images with graphic
- Desire to continue to grow skill set with ongoing education and training
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in photography, graphic design, art, or similar discipline
- Exceptional creativity design skills
- Photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software
- 3+ years in professional ecommerce imagery
- 3+ years experience (academic and professional) with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign with a strong portfolio of work
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
