Charter One Hiring for Graphic Designer Job at Mesa, AZ Full Time

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

• Charter One, and its sister organization, C1 Apparel, are seeking a talented, flexible, and dynamic graphic designer. This role is a hybrid position that performs work for both Charter One, an education management organization, and C1 Apparel, an apparel organization that produces and delivers uniforms and apparel for all of Charter One’s client schools.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

• Designs visually appealing graphics for a wide range of clients for student use and wear on Fridays. Creates new designs seasonally, so C1 Apparel has fresh apparel options to offer families quarterly.
• Take approved apparel designs and package files so they are print ready. Prepare gang sheets and flooded sheets to prepare C1 Apparel to screen print heat transfers.
• Supports C1 Apparel by uploading new designs to its website. No coding is required; the content management system (cms) is widget based on a pre-designed web template.
• Supports the development of original content, including infographics, tri-folds, banners, school materials, and web and social media graphics for Charter One.
• Produces digital advertisements and sponsored content quarterly for Charter One.
• Provides support with client events and inter-departmental support as needed, including social media and email marketing support.
• Leads multiple projects and works independently in a detail-oriented, fast-paced, fun, innovative, and deadline-driven environment.
• Supports multiple design projects from client schools.
• Manages and maintains relationships with vendors.
• Collaborates with the Charter One marketing and C1 Apparel team on new campaigns and strategies.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Two or more years of graphic design experience, preferably at a B2B or B2C.
• Strong portfolio of recent work.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Knowledge of typography, color, and print production.
• Ability to collect and interpret feedback, execute the vision, and collaborate closely with team members.
• Experience supporting graphics for social media and email marketing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities.
• Problem solver with a positive attitude and a passion for service.
• Ability to work independently.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• Previous graphic design experience is required.
• Advertising agency experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience working in the Wrike project management system is a plus but not required.
