Overview
We’re looking for a talented designer to join our quickly growing creative team.
The role will be responsible for crafting the visual design, and execution of our brands. Under the guidance and direction of the Creative Director, you will build concepts and execute the visual language for the brands across consumer touchpoints including packaging, promotional materials, visual communications, eCommerce, social media, etc. Ensure brand guidelines and directives are embraced consistently and creatively. Communicate and justify conceptual and directional choices.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize original and unique brand identities, designs, and illustrations for current and future Cirkul products.
- Manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines.
- Stay up to date with the changing trends in the field and best practices.
- Must be able to work in a team environment with other departments to reach common company goals.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience working as a Designer/Digital Designer at an agency or brand.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or other related field.
- Master of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign, as well as emerging interactive design tools such as FIGMA, Sketch, or any prototyping software.
- Ability to translate business goals into innovative, meaningful, and differentiated digital, interactive, social media, and brand experiences.
- Experience with packaging design, digital, and branding.
- In-depth knowledge of the printing process, both digital and offset.
- Ability to communicate well with team members and articulate rationale for design decisions to VPs, Executive Directors, Junior Designers, Project Managers, and Copywriters.
- An online portfolio that demonstrates a passion for great design and shows the stylistic breadth, attention to detail, and usability.
- A pulse on what is relevant in culture, design, and technology and can push for and help set trends.
- Extensive knowledge of digital asset development, as well as printed marketing materials, including print ads, sales collateral, merchandising, and event materials.
- Working knowledge of social, digital, website and new technologies.
