Job Summary:

The Graphic Designer is part of the Regional Creative Hub providing support for multiple Clear Channel Outdoor branches. This position is part of a 7 member in-house design team comprised of 2 Graphic Designers working alongside 4 Art Director(s) and one Creative Director. Creative skills will be used to develop concepts, graphics, layouts, copy-writing, and execute effective designs for strong OOH campaigns. Additionally, this role will have a strong component of trafficking projects and deadlines, handling logistics and keeping all parties updated on the progress of the department workflow. They will also assist the sales team in developing concepts and creating effective designs and photo-realistic speculative art for sales proposals that is production ready.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop concepts, graphics, layouts, copywriting, and execute effective designs.
• Work with a variety of clients by preparing, correcting, modifying artwork and downloading files for production.
• Acts as a creative advisor for clients on corporate identity and design standards, by using creative best practices and recommending the best design strategy that will meet the client’s needs.
• Utilizes research of CCO digital image library, stock photography as well as client assets, including website, photography, and logos in developing creative.
• Provide quality assurance of all creative deliverables with high attention to detail.
• Communicate and refine agency or customer artwork before it is posted.
• Prepare final image print-ready files to send to production.
• Maintain a repository for all local and regional creative.
• Maintains and updates brand guidelines throughout collateral materials.
• Designs graphics using Macintosh operating systems.
• Follows policies and procedures set up by the local market management and corporate directives.
• May travel to meet with clients regarding design or participate in sales calls.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Job Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of Apple Macintosh operating system as well as Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and proficient in PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of web design and video production is a plus.
• Ability to create artistic, creative displays and write headline copy.
• Read and comprehend complex correspondence and listen effectively.
• Skilled at verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage production workflow, timelines, and schedules.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Be familiar with cloud-based communication, FTP and task management software applications including (but not limited to): Dropbox, Asana, Slack, etc.
• Bachelor’s degree in Advertising Design, Graphic Design or Communication Design preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or similar degree in Advertising Design, Graphic Design or Communication Design p referred and/or 1-2 years of relevant direct experience in Advertising, Marketing or Graphic Design related positions.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.

Work Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in Graphic Design preferred.
• Possesses a current, relevant portfolio.
