The Administration/Financial Business Analyst/Office Assistant is responsible for a range of tasks in support of the Niceville Operations Manager in the areas of financial and labor data collection, reconciliation, and month-end business cycle tasks and various tasks to sustain the office to include supplies and social activities planning.
Essential Job Functions:
Assist the DCS Niceville Operations Manager in the various administrative activities required to sustain the operation of the building, manage contracts, conduct DCS policy actions, and support the staff that are associated with the Niceville Office.
Track daily labor and assist with the upload of that data. Coordinate with DCS support staff to ensure the accuracy of this data. Assist employees with timesheets and travel vouchers as required to ensure accurate, timely submission of both.
Assist with the on-boarding of new personnel by coordinating with DCS HR, IT, and Accounting staffs and briefing new employees on various topics required for a smooth transition to employment with DCS.
Assist with subcontract requisitioning, budget tracking, invoice review and reconciliation efforts.
Assist with the management of contract tracking sheets and funds management.
Assist the Office Security Manager with administrative actions.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
High School Diploma/GED.
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Proficiency with Microsoft ® Office Products with a strong concentration in MS Excel.
Strong communication skills.
Excellent proofreading, formatting, and attention to detail.
Desired Skills:
Experience with business contract financial management.
Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
Experience with purchase requisitions and sub-contractor invoicing.
