What will you be doing?
As a Teacher Assistant, you will work side-by-side with Teachers, children, and families to provide a home away from home for children throughout the community. You will be responsible for the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years. You will assist Teachers with all daily tasks including diaper changes, potty training, lesson planning, meals, and nap time. No classroom experience? That is okay – we provide paid training on all classroom procedures!
Required Skills:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1+ years of Early Childhood Educational Experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to multitask and remain organized.
- Ability to work within operating hours.
- Must meet state requirements for childcare employment.
- Ability to build relationships with children and families.
