Era Living is seeking a Regional Director of Health and Wellness to become an integral member of our senior management team in Seattle, WA. The Regional Director of Health and Wellness is the clinical leader for Era Living and its eight retirement communities, responsible for the overall care and safety of our residents and staff. Functioning as a strategic member of the senior leadership team, the Regional Director of Health and Wellness provides expert advice and guidance on best practices in Independent and assisted living, dementia-care, and gerontology.
This is a critical and high profile role for our company that has the ability to influence strategic direction and enhance the differentiation of the company from its competitors. One of our differentiators is longstanding partnerships with the University of Washington School of Nursing, School of Medicine, and School of Pharmacy. These vital relationships help keep us on the forefront of advances in healthy aging and provide value-add services to our residents. The Regional Director of Health and Wellness is the clinical liaison with UW and other affinity groups and oversees the current programs we have in place in association with the University of Washington.
The person in this role guides all health and clinical matters for Era Living and sets policies and procedures for health and wellness programming and care management/delivery including risk management, quality assurance, infection-control, performance management, and regulatory compliance.
Our ideal candidate is a Washington State licensed Registered Nurse who is an advocate for elder-care needs in the community at-large, exemplifies a values-based approach to work, and has: strong advanced clinical and organizational skills, great attention to detail, ability to lead cross-functional projects effectively and drive results through others, and ability to manage multiple priorities at one time.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Excel in this Role:
Extensive knowledge of residential and long-term care, gerontology, and care of older adults
Extensive working knowledge of Washington Administrative Codes (WAC’s), Revised Code of Washington (RCW’s), and regulatory issues
