What you will be doing:

• Reporting to the Assistant Director of Legacy Events, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Display precise knowledge of all event activities and experience inclusions
• Confer with facility managers in order to provide information, coordinate activities, and discuss opportunities to inspect sporting equipment and/or examine participants in order to ensure compliance with event and safety regulations.
• Maintain standards of play and ensure that safety rules are observed
• Signal participants or other officials to make them aware of infractions or to otherwise regulate skating experience
• Explain the rules and regulations governing the ice rink.
• Keep track of event times, including rink times and starting or stopping sessions when necessary.
• Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service

Your experience and skills include:

• Hockey or figure skating experience
• Previous point of sale system experience an asset
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
