KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, DUTIES AND ABILITIES:
The Web Developer/Maintenance & Graphic Designer is responsible for all facets of the company’s advertising and design operations including: Creating designs, concepts and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts. Accuracy is imperative in this position and may include some/all of the following:
- Demonstrate proficiencies in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, In- Design, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Determination of size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and selection of style and size of type;
- Conferring with associates to discuss and determine layout design;
- Developing graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, Internet / Intranet websites, single and multi-page sales flyers, business cards, posters, etc.;
- Reviewing final layouts and suggest improvements as needed;
- Preparing illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with associates or supervisors and making necessary changes;
- Using computer software to generate new images;
- Keying information into computer equipment to create layouts for supervisory review;
- Maintaining archives of images, photos or previous work products;
- Drawing and printing charts, graphs, illustrations and other artwork using computer technology;
- Studying illustrations and photographs to plan presentation of materials, products
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- BA / BS degree in Web Development, Maintenance and Graphics Design or a related area preferred;
- A valid driver’s license is a requirement of this position (MVR Report must be obtained by applicant and submitted for approval prior to hire date);
- Acknowledgement of and adherence to all Company policies and procedures as contained within the Federated Auto Parts Employee and Driver’s Handbooks, which will be provided at the time of hire;
WORK SCHEDULE:
Adhere to a flexible schedule that may allow you to work days, evenings and/or weekends (as necessary) to provide quality service and complete assignments by established timelines.
