We are proud to have the staffing to support our scholars, Reading Specialist, Math Specialists, Social Workers, Dean of Cultures, Paraprofessionals, Full Special Education Department, and a Homeless Liaison and Parent Support Specialist, and almost 70 community partners. In addition, aggressive measures have been taken to upgrade our academic programs to ensure we have new textbooks and for every student for every subject; 1:1 chrome book for every student in every class and in the household as well as providing internet and hotspots to support learning at home. Full Time Physical Education Teacher K-8 Needed

Essential Functions:

•Delivers reports and paperwork critical to tracking student performance and school compliance.•Serves as the guardian of our school mission, core values, and culture

Qualifications:•Michigan Teaching Certification Physical Education/Health Endorsement
•Ability to Work Collaboratively with Teachers, Students, Parents, and Community Members
•Must like kids, be positive, be flexible, be supportive, and understand the need to work closely with parents
•Must be student-centered, use multiple techniques to diversify instruction
•Must be a reflective-thinker, comfortable with taking risks, tenacious, accept constructive criticism, and have a desire to learn and improve
•Must treat students with respect, keep students engaged, put students at the center of the work, can handle difficult students and problems on their own.
•Must be able to work with others, willing to share, can go with the flow, and is respectful of others ideas.
