Greater Philadelphia Health Action, Inc. is a Federally Qualified Health Center known to be the largest healthcare provider in the greater Philadelphia area. With joint-commission accredited Health Centers providing compassionate and affordable healthcare services throughout Philadelphia regardless of an individual’s ability to pay.

We are presently seeking a Clinical Assistant. Responsibilities include: 

• Supports productivity by completing various types of site-based clinical and administrative work.
• Supports quality assurance and risk management through audits and inspections.
• Provides direct support to Medical Department projects.
• Promotes GPHA’s vision and mission to staff, patients and the public at large.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding patient/client and employee information.
• Provides services, as directed, at facilities other than a GPHA location in the event that an incident that compromises the safety, security or integrity of the United States of America should occur.

Requirements: Strong clinical background and foreign medical graduates or nurses preferred. Bachelor’s Degree required. Ability to deal with people sympathetically and effectively to obtain necessary information. Ability to work harmoniously with other personnel. CPR certification required. Prefer bilingual, English and Chinese or Spanish.
