GW, a premier publishing services provider, is seeking a detail-oriented designer with experience in Adobe CC and a mastery of InDesign to join our team as a Compositor/Graphic Designer. The ideal candidate for this position has attention to detail, a desire to problem solve and wants to make a positive contribution to learning and education. Projects require excellent time management and creative thinking skills.
As a Compositor/Graphic Designer your work will include page layout and design for medical, scientific and trade books for educational publishers, understanding of design, final deliverables, and love of all things Adobe.
REQUIRED:
- Exceptional skills in Adobe CC, especially InDesign
- Skill in all Microsoft Office applications
- Skills and working knowledge of scripts, Greps, Perls, HTML and XML
- Knowledge of Accessibility standards, various output and deliverables
- Ability to work within tight deadlines
- Flexibility to work on multiple projects and multiple types of work with similar deadlines
- Ability and willingness to solve problems
