Registered Nurse (RN) – Dialysis
HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is a 490-bed acute care facility offering inpatient and outpatient medical, surgical and specialty services. The campus includes Level II trauma capabilities, a Neuroscience Institute, The Heart & Vascular Hospital, a bariatrics program, the Breast Diagnostic Center, a wound care center, a level III Neonatal ICU, and the area’s only pediatric emergency department and pediatric ICU.
What you will do in this role:
- Responsible for direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients on the Dialysis Unit.
- Participates in activities to plan, measure, assess, and improve the quality of patient care.
- Communicates with Nurse Director and House Supervisor regarding patient care, staff conflicts and unusual occurrences.
- Ensures efficient, quality care of patients requiring dialysis.
- Assures daily charges are entered on Meditech.
- Adheres to and complies with HCA Code of Conduct as part of Ethics and Compliance program. Attends annual training sessions.
Qualifications
What qualifications you will need:

Minimum of one (1) year Dialysis nurse experience.

Graduate of accredited school of nursing

Current licensure as an RN in the State of Texas.

Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider

American Red Cross or America Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification

American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification
