About the role:
As a graphic designer with HDIS, you will create electronic and printed marketing materials, exhibit elements, and illustrations for a variety of publications, websites, displays, and other media.

• First and foremost: work with amazing people (for real, you’ll love them)
• Conceptualize, design, and produce promotional material
• Design and produce camera ready art including graphs, charts, clip art, posters, digitization of graphics, line-art, and/or photos
• Create electronically designed layouts and import work processing files into pate layouts
• Produce illustrations for presentations and/or publication
• Consult with staff to identify their graphics needs and set reasonable deadlines
• Serve as a liaison between the company and printers/publishers
• Coordinate printing production process to ensure quality

We’re excited about you because…

• You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Arts or a related field
• You have 5+ years’ experience in a related capacity
• You have knowledge of a principles and practices of graphic design
• You can create and produce graphic materials using a range of media, methods, techniques, and equipment
• You have experience using programs such as Photoshop, Quark, Illustrator, In Design, HTML experience, and Adobe Acrobat
• You have knowledge of printing and/or reproduction processes and techniques
• You have catalog and website layout experience
• You have polished communication skills and exceptional active listening skills
• You are organized, driven, and attend to details with a high level of accuracy and consistency
