Preferred Qualifications
At least one year of experience compiling, editing, and formatting reports; developing and maintaining task tracking tools; documenting and communicating office procedures; experience in an executive and/or state government office; experience with Microsoft Outlook, electronic calendars, Word, Excel, and Power Point and Adobe Acrobat; coordinating meetings, conferences, or other forums.
Responsibilities
The Administrative Aide will provide administrative support for the Bureau of Community Chronic Disease Prevention and the Bureau of Cancer Prevention and Control. Responsibilities include: creating, and/or assisting in the creation, revision and formatting of documents, reports, correspondence and forms using word processing and specialized software packages; scheduling meetings, arranging conference calls with multiple
phone lines, webinars and other conferencing software, etc.; assisting with preparation of meeting agendas; coordinating Bureau leadership calendars and program schedule/activities; serving as a liaison between staff and other Bureaus within the Division of Chronic Disease Prevention to provide administrative support; organizing and maintaining paper and electronic storage files; and providing administrative support for personnel
transactions; and supporting the Bureau Fiscal Operations Unit in processing purchase orders/requests. Other appropriate related duties as assigned.
