Hire Up Staffing Services is seeking a Graphic Designer for a publishing company in the Tulare area. This is a part time job, with the deadline and production week requiring 6 straight days (6 to 9 hour days) each month near the end of the month. The pay range is $25-$55/hr (depending on experience).
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ experience graphic design
- Must be skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Illustrator)
- Photoshop clipping path knowledge a must
- Ability to work efficiently, creatively and on a deadline driven schedule
- Knowledge of 4 color print production
- Must have a portfolio for us to review
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the production manager to see each monthly magazine meets our quality standards and is completed in time for print.
- Work with several current ad designs and the various types of changes received from customers.
- The ability to take a brochure or website to create an ad design that features the product or service they are selling.
- The ability to take direction/changes from each sales rep and understanding their unique style and preferences.
- You will bring your own design styles but know this is creative and fundamental at the same time.
- Strong knowledge of indesign, including master pages, style sheets, and pagination
