POSITION DETAILS
Reports directly to the Dir of HCCS, work includes completing New York City Committee of Special Education (NYC CSE) documents, maintaining appropriate files, creating reports to track student information and timelines. This position will assist in a cooperative effort with parents, guardians, family members, teaching staff, building principals, and coordinators. The Administrative Special Education & Retention Specialist will assist in developing opportunities for children with disabilities, support parent involvement, and collaborate with school staff.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in education or related degree and four years’ K-12 Special Education experience required (certification preferred). NYC DOE/CSE professional experiences strongly preferred.

Salary commensurate with education and experience ($51,242-$77,635).
