Title: Graphic Designer
Department: Marketing
Location: Sarasota
Position Purpose: Design and production of print materials, digital assets to promote IPG’s brands.
Principle Accountabilities
1. Use knowledge of current graphic design software to produce graphic art and visual materials for promotions, advertisements, and packaging.
2. Design new product logos, packaging and point-of-purchase displays.
3. Design various pieces of literature (flyers, brochures, etc…) when given raw data and text to work with
4. Photograph products, retouch, and format for use in print and web
5. Design and prepare HTML email ads/web graphics
6. Design and prepare trade show display pull-ups, banners, and posters (includes printing, cutting, mounting)
7. Fulfill image requests for customers, distributors, and IPG business units
8. Search for and select new images, mostly application photos, to be used in various literature
9. Design various pieces of literature (flyers, brochures, etc…) when given raw data and text to work with
10. Learn and become knowledgeable about IPG’s array of products
11. Keep abreast of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the organization
12. Related tasks as requested by supervisor
Essential Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Art, Graphic Art or related field with major course work or training in computer assisted graphics
- Two (2) years full-time related professional work experience in graphic design. Appropriate combination of education and experience may be substituted.
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
- Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Must be organized and able to handle multiple projects and possess an understanding of the responsibilities of an in-house marketing department and how multiple business units work together to present a single, unified look and message.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be detail oriented, results driven and conscientious.
- Experience with video capturing and editing also a plus!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
