Purpose and Scope/General Summary: This position is part of the corporate communications team and requires a motivated team player with experience in and passion for visually telling the story of food and agriculture through a variety of internal and external communications channels. The person in this role is responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop visual identity, graphic design assets and branding projects for the company and its respective Business Units.
Responsibilities:
GRAPHIC DESIGN
- Serve as the lead for creating a consistent, professional visual identity for the company, upholding brand standards across the company and championing brand standardization.
- Design and develop all internal communications, email newsletters, external digital sites, printed materials (such as signs, flyers, ads, infographics, etc.), logos and other communications collateral.
- Create graphics and illustrations that convey important messages and information for use in print and digital formats, including social media, websites and newsletters.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing collateral and visual identity for the company.
- Serve as the primary point of contact on any graphic design or creative needs from leadership, Business Units and plants.
- Other duties as assigned
CONTENT CURATION, MANAGEMENT & MAINTENANCE
- Manage design and content development for internal and external websites.
- Support marketing and sales teams in building presentations, one-pagers, posters, flyers, etc.
- Ensure relevance and accuracy of consumer- and client- facing materials on a regular basis.
- Other duties as assigned
GENERAL COMMUNICATIONS
- Support corporate communications efforts on behalf of JBS USA, including the Intranet, the company’s communications app, etc.
- Serve as a communications resource for internal clients.
- Assist with writing and editing of materials.
- Design, curate and distribute internal emails and communications assets.
- Work in coordination with all departments to ensure alignment of messaging, project scopes, timelines and deliverables.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required
- Proven work experience in graphic design; 2+ years of experience
- Ability to identify target audience preferences and build content to meet their needs
- Highly capable project manager with excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Proficient in Adobe applications – Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
- Strong creativity skills and the vision to turn ideas into effective projects
- Understanding of new design techniques and trends
- Photography and video production/editing skills a plus
- Team player with an excellent attitude who is willing to learn and grow
- Outstanding written/verbal communication skills
- Good proofreading skills; attention to detail is a must
- Self-starter, flexible, results-driven, quick-learning personality that easily adapts to change
- Ability to work effectively and under pressure with a wide array of personalities and management styles
- Appropriately screen and handle confidential and sensitive information
- As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.
The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
- Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
- Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
- 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
- Base salary range of $60,000 – $75,000; and
- Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;

This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account various factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiencies for the role.
