Job Details

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
As a Healthcare Analyst, you’ll do more than just produce in depth data reports and perform quality management: You’ll be asked to think on your feet to analyze and solve business problems using cutting-edge technology.

We’re a small team, so expect to juggle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Your work will be highly visible, and you’ll be expected to continuously identify new opportunities for optimization across our products. There’s not a lot of red tape here, so expect to pitch your reports and solutions to product managers, software engineers, and sometimes the CEO.

Core Competencies

• Analyze variety of data types to identify user trends to write user stories, functional specifications, and business rules
• Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
• Work closely with clients, development, and managerial staff to understand and define stakeholder needs, and ensure reports and analytic insights meet business needs and requirements
• Document, update, implement and maintain processes and procedures
• Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders and end-users of the platform/products
• Manage competing resources and priorities
• Facilitate conversations between business and engineering
• Stay up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree within or related to engineering, product design, computer science, statistics, public health or relevant experience in those fields
• 1-3 years of experience analyzing complex/varietal data sets to generate insights, program requirements, and program enhancements
• Healthcare experience, preferably with a health plan/payer, wellness, or population health analytics background
• 1-3 years of hands on experience with standard business analysis concepts in an agile environment
• Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and have excellent time management and communication skills
• Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
• A history of leading or supporting successful projects
• Experience creating detailed reports and/or giving presentations
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Experience using business intelligence reporting tools such as Cognos, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, etc. preferred but not required
