Job Details
Our client is seeking a Healthcare Associate with 2-5 years of experience in healthcare-related matters for its Covington, Kentucky location. This position will work with the attorneys in the Covington office on healthcare transactions, regulatory issues, administrative matters, and litigation. The position offers competitive salary and benefits, and a collegial work environment.
Candidates will work with supervising attorneys to represent and advise a variety of clients.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Research and advise clients on healthcare transactional and regulatory issues
- Draft pleadings and discovery in healthcare administrative hearings and litigation
- Prepare and argue motions
- Participate in depositions
- Perform legal research and writing
- Assist in hearing preparation and participate in hearings
- Draft healthcare contracts and opinion letters
Successful candidates must possess excellent drafting, writing, and analytical skills, strong
attention to detail, a high level of organizational skills, strong verbal and interpersonal skills, and
the ability to manage multiple projects independently. Candidates can expect the opportunity to
work directly with clients.
