This opportunity includes working as a Laborer / Concrete Finisher / Carpenter (Construction) at our jobsite locations throughout Florida. Traveling may be necessary for this position.
Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers.
Responsibilities
- Forming concreteAssembling wood and metal concrete forms
- Tying rebar
- Placing and finishing concrete
- Carrying/moving items across job site as needed
- Assorted tasks on job site as needed
- Willing to travel
- Physical Strength
- Able to stand, walk, bend and or kneel 8+ hours a day
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent hand eye coordination
- Endurance
- Must be able to work outside in heat / cold / all weather conditions
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all employees at all levels in the workplace
