Match Charter Public School is a free, high-performing charter public school in Boston. We are a PreK-12 school serving 1,250 students. OVERVIEW OF ROLE
Our elementary school (Match Community Day) is accepting applications for upper elementary lead teacher positions – 3rd through 5th grade – for the 2022-2023 school year. Lead Teachers are fully responsible for the growth and achievement of the student in their class (we have 18 students/class in Pre-K and K and 25 students/class in grades 1-5). Lead Teachers are supported in the classroom by associate teachers, special education staff, or paraprofessionals. The positions are based at our elementary school campus on 100 Poydras St. in Hyde Park.
The compensation for Match teaching positions ranges from $60,000-$96,000 and is based on a candidates prior years of teaching experience.

We are looking for applicants who:
have at least two years of full-time experience as classroom or special education teacher, preferably in an urban education setting;
hold a valid and appropriate license issued by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, or obtain the licensure within a year of date of hire;
believe that all students can and will succeed;
desire to continually improve their practice as a teacher by taking and implementing feedback;
have a proven record of student success and achievement; and
appreciate a good sense of humor.
