Responsibilities:
- Catalog, Magazine, Brochure, and Flyer Production & Layout.
- Print & Digital Advertising Materials.
- Photo Editing, Composites, color adjustments for Print and Digital.
- Product Illustrations using vector tools and shading
- Occasional Package Design and various other unique projects as needed.
- Coordinate with other creative team members to ensure consistent branding and cross compatibility of files and assets.
- Collaborate directly with Marketing and other departments to successfully meet the required needs and objectives.
Required Skills:
- Strong Attention to detail, ability to work fast on simple projects, and a good eye for making every layout its best on bigger projects.
- Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills.
- Degree in Graphic Design is helpful, but real work experience can speak volumes.
- Strong graphic, layout, and typographic skills.
- A desire to utilize new technologies to create better results and more efficient workflows.
- Advanced Skills with Adobe Creative Cloud; Professional-level InDesign, Photoshop, & Illustrator experience are required. You will frequently work inside InDesign for final production and layout of our bigger projects.
- Ideate and stylize complex and abstract ideas into representative illustrations and graphics. Automotive familiarity is helpful. A passion for British or Miata vehicles is even more helpful.
- Photographic image retouching and manipulation, color-correction, and creation of accurate clipping paths.
- Experience with catalog or magazine design & layout.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and independently prioritize tasks within expected timelines and deadlines.
Bonus knowledge specific to our workflow
- Experience with EasyCatalog.
- Experience with Wrike or similar project management software.
- Experience with Mac OS, and creative environment file management workflow.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (mainly Outlook and Excel when needed).
- Pre-flight/Pre-press file creation, PDF output, and oversight of final printed media.
