New York Kids Club Looking for Education Director at Manhattan, NY Full Time

Here’s what an Education Director’s day looks like:

• Safety is our number one pillar! Ensure each student’s health and safety at all times through adherence to our daily protocols
• Lead and inspire your team of dedicated educators in the implementation of our unique and original curriculum
• Create community by spearheading all parent communication and establish strong relationships with our both the children and parents
• Support enrollment initiatives designed to grow your community
• Use your keen eye for detail while working in collaboration with the Manager of Compliance to ensure city and state agency paperwork and class rosters up-to-date and organized
• Collaborate with the Education Director team and reflect on programming to ensure that we are current in our pedagogy, developmental benchmarks, curriculum, and approach to learning
• May Instruct up to 25 hours per week within home center as needed

Requirements:

This job is for you if you:

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field required
• Have a Master’s degree in early childhood education or related field preferred
• Have a NY state teaching certification in early childhood education (birth-2) or special education (birth-2) required
• Have a Minimum 2 years of lead teaching experience in an early childhood classroom, or in Pre-k, Kindergarten, or grades 1-2 required
• Have 3-5 years of management/leadership experience
• Have Strong leadership, hospitality, and organizational skills
• Are a lifelong learner!

Salary ranges from $80K – $85K
