Osceola Regional Medical Center, located in beautiful Kissimmee, Florida, is seeking a Charge Registered Nurse for the Neuro Telemetry Unit (NTEL) to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care.

What you will do in this role
You will be responsible for providing safe and appropriate nursing care within HCA’s mission and values statements, the Florida Nurse Practice Act, and carrying out physician’s orders.
You will be demonstrating your advanced nursing knowledge, skills, and abilities in this 18-bed unit that specializes in the care of critically ill patients with acute primary neurological diagnoses such as TIA, syncope, seizures, stroke, comprehensive stroke, aneurisms, post neurological surgeries, and neuro intervention which require close monitoring via telemetry. This unit is attached to the Neuro ICU, and the ratio is 4:1.
You will be using wall-mounted computers in the patient’s private room for your documentation, and collaborating with our team of patient care technicians and supporting clinical staff to provide the best patient care experience and outcomes.
Qualifications you will need for this role
Current active license in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.
Current BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
NIHSS certification is a plus.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Nursing diploma or ASN is required; BSN is preferred.
Minimum 1 year current experience in an acute care hospital setting.
Previous experience as a Charge/Clinical Coordinator is a plus.
Neuro Step-down experience is strongly preferred.
