Marketing Specialist / Graphic Designer Job Duties:
Looking for a skilled Marketing Specialist/Graphic Designer to become an integral member of our in-house marketing team. This person will support the Marketing Manager with the conception, creation, and execution of a variety of marketing strategies, campaigns, and events to support the company’s sales goals.
From concept development through completion and delivery, this position is responsible for varied graphic design and multimedia needs, including marketing support materials such as print and digital brochures, sell sheets, social media graphics, PowerPoint presentations and tradeshow assets. Video and photography are a plus.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong project management skills, who can not only create stunning visuals, but also coordinate and manage marketing-related projects.
Candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. They should be open to receiving direction/ideas/learning, as well as providing direction and sharing ideas with fellow team members. Excellent creative and communication skills (written/verbal/presentation) are a must. The ideal candidate will have a high level of organizational skills; be proficient in InDesign and Microsoft Office; embraces new technologies; and the ability to manage multiple projects to completion in a timely fashion.
- Coordinates directly with Specialist team and external supplier partners to create meaningful content to support our promotional needs and drive growth across multiple platforms.
- Develops reporting structures to judge the success of marketing initiatives. Reestablishes new strategies based on knowledge from prior campaigns. Constantly seeks to improve approach and performance.
- Integral team contributor in planning, executing, and measuring ROI for major events and training opportunities including two major food shows annually, regional customer events and internal sales trainings.
- Communicates promotional objectives and standings to sales team for both local and corporate initiatives.
- Tracks and executes marketing and advertising activities based on our local supplier program commitments and industry changes.
- Creates and maintains marketing content including product catalogs and points of sale.
- Assists in the commercialized printing process and distribution.
- Pre-Employment drug testing required, including marijuana.

Required Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Business, Marketing, or similar discipline and/or additional skills education.
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar role working in a results-oriented and fast-paced environment.
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint applications.
- Strong communicator with ability to thrive/prosper in cross functional teams.
- Great attention to detail and strong time management skills. Ability to handle many projects at once.
