We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our in-house Brand Creative team. In-house teams have a reputation for doing mostly stale, production-style work, but at Podium we have the resources and the talent to be thoughtful, strategic, and inventive. Creative work is valued and brand is a key differentiator in our market. From our marketing assets development to video production, we prioritize good design in everything we do.
What you will be doing:
- Lead the design on various projects such as digital ads, ebooks, web design, video production, and other brand/marketing initiatives.
- Assist with the design of brand and product illustration, event collateral, internal materials/invites/signage, and other similar brand-centric projects
- Understand the Podium brand guidelines and maintain consistency across channels
- Assist the team in developing core brand assets
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and project managers to determine projects and priorities
- Proactively work to reduce friction and contribute to a positive working environment
What you should have:
- A design portfolio that shows a breadth of real-world experience and style. (Note: Stand-out portfolios will include a variety of project types.)
- 4+ years experience preferred but not required; selection will be based on quality and relevance of portfolio rather than years of experience/education
- Experience with Figma or similar tool; Adobe Suite experience preferred
- A good understanding of typography, layout, hierarchy, and design trends
- An ability to communicate well—both with team members and through design
- Openness to giving and receiving feedback in a humble, constructive way
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility, ownership, and focus
