Prescient Technologies Hiring for Junior Graphic Designer Job at Dallas, TX Full Time

Prescient Technologies is seeking an experienced and effective Junior Graphic Designer to support the Office of Research and Development (ORD) at several EPA locations in and around the D.C. Metro area. The position is expected to be remote; as there are multiple locations needing support Nationwide.

Due to the complex nature of the projects, and the sensitivity of the systems being updated, the Junior Graphic Designer is required to ensure accomplishment of mission-critical goals and the timely execution of graphics and design projects.

The responsibilities of the Graphic Designer will include, but are not limited to:

• Produces graphic art and visual materials under supervision of the Senior Graphic Designer.
• Performs graphic design plans and illustrates scientific material in accordance with expectations.
• Executes projects, and coordinates and schedules production of projects.
• Performs production and coordinates production with partners as needed.
• Operates and sets up computer graphic systems.
• Generates, manipulates, and integrates graphic images, animations, sound, text and video generated with automated tools into consolidated and seamless multimedia programs.
• Ensures successful completion of all assigned tasks within tight time constraints.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
• Adobe Creative Suites including DreamWeaver, Acrobat InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Creative Suite CS4, Creative Suite CS5, Creative Suite CS6, Acrobat Pro X and DC, Premiere, Adobe LiveCycle ES2, Fireworks, PDF Creator, Distiller 10, Reader 9 Installer
• Ability to plan and organize tasks, establish and meet deadlines and create acceptable work products under supervision;
• Strong written and oral communication skills;
• Ability to handle complex projects requiring considerable creativity and judgment to resolve design problems;
• Ability to assist in making decisions in situations where standard design and/or methods, procedures and techniques may not be applicable;

Required Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in graphic design must be reflected in your resume.
• Must demonstrate a superior capability to organize and manage multi-disciplined project tasks and possess expertise in performing technical tasks.
