How your skills will be used:

• Develop, design, and create marketing communications and graphic elements that visually reinforce PEC’s brand identity and consistency.
• Manage, maintain, and monitor our visual brand standards, graphic standards, templates, instructions, manuals, and other documents.
• Manage creative direction for branding, pursuits, promotional items, website, and marketing collateral.
• Interface with printers, vendors, etc.
• Support, educate and enforce brand guidelines, governance, and best practices for internal purposes to guide efforts across the organization.
• Collaborate with others to develop creative solutions to visual communication needs.
• Design and produce creative themes and layouts for printed marketing materials such as banners, business cards, advertising artwork, and project proposals.
• Design and produce visual elements for digital marketing communications.
• Understand the concepts of trade show marketing, including booth preparation, prospect engagement, and follow-up; prepare materials accordingly.
• Some creative copywriting and editing required.
• Utilizes project management process for each creative campaign.
• Provide high-quality, creative work by ensuring proper review and proofing have been completed (quality to reflect years of experience).
• Works within deadlines to ensure creative projects and campaigns are completed and delivered on time to the internal clients’ satisfaction.
• Approaches work proactively, takes initiative, and consistently works to improve design.
• Ongoing research and analysis to stay on the cutting edge of software, marketing trends, and technology.

Please apply if your background includes:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or similar.
• 3+ years of relevant experience within an in-house marketing or creative department with graphic design as a primary responsibility.
• Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, +) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with the creative process, marketing, and brand development.
• An online portfolio that demonstrates a strong sense of design, layout, and typography.
• Excellent verbal and written communicator.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and WordPress preferred.
• Corporate branding, photography, and video production skills preferred.
• Values building internal and external professional relationships.
• Self-starter who requires little to no supervision to meet assigned deadlines.
• High energy, positive and professional attitude, takes pride in work, superior attention to detail, persistent.
• Team-oriented, collaborative work style.
