job summary:
Construction Inspector located in Portland, OR for a leading organization that delivers testing, inspection and certification services. This role is responsible to perform field testing and inspections on soil, concrete, masonry and asphalt. To be considered – must have construction material testing experience (ACI certification is required). This is a direct hire opportunity with ability to earn overtime compensation. Required Qualifications:
- ACI Field Tech I certification is required
- Will ideally have construction material testing experience
- Ability to complete routine calculations of test data
- Ability to read and understand work plans is required

responsibilities:
- Performs a variety of testing, project specific observations and site assessment duties under general supervision
- Operates testing equipment and conducts testing (example: Soil, concrete or other) and provides assessment of data through reporting.
- Works utilizing drawings, specifications, and diagrams.
- Makes detailed observations and gives limited interpretation of results.
- Maintains detailed documentation and data from test results.
The essential functions of this role include:
- working up to 15 hrs of overtime per week
- working weekends
