Contract position:

Engineering & Construction client has a need starting Jan 3, 2022 for a Mechanical Construction Superintendent to work on a long term, contract assignment in Port Arthur, TX. You need 10-15+ years of mechanical construction field experience working on refinery EPC projects. You need at least 7 years of specific experience as a Mechanical Superintendent on these types of projects. Mob, demob, per diem & trips home provided.

Additional projects: Baytown, TX and Whitewater, WI – all starting Jan 3, 2022

responsibilities:

• Supervise the mechanical construction effort, on this refinery EPC project to ensure that it is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule
• Assist with the implementation of safety programs and provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as required
• Supervise mechanically oriented craft employees and/or other contractors as required by the contract
• Assume responsibility for productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project
• Work with mechanical Subcontractors daily to ensure that the project is constructed & documented in accordance with the project specifications, policies, detailed drawings & industry standards
• Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, and may provide day-to-day direction of on-site administrative staff)
