job summary:
The Technical Program Manager for Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Administration is part of a key technical team that delivers significant business value to the company. The position partners with internal stakeholders to develop, design, build and launch SFMC solutions. This position interacts with people in both business (Marketing) and technical roles to create specifications and resolve issues with an eye toward continuous improvement. This position works across department and functional lines on a variety of programs that range in scope, risk, and complexity.

responsibilities:
- Demonstrating an understanding of the SFMC system architecture down to the core components.
- Contributing to design reviews and actively participating in the design review process.
- Assisting with technical documentation to ensure it meets the needs of various audiences.
- Monitoring SFMC Automations, and other services, proactively alerting stakeholders and partners of interrupted jobs and services.
- Creating SFMC support cases.
- Working with stakeholders and partners to bring cases/issues to resolution.
- Participating in technical design discussions and assists trade-off discussions by explaining user impact of different options.
- Troubleshooting SFMC system and data issues by both interacting with functionality and querying the underlying data layers.
- Anticipating and conveying impacts of proposed architectural changes to implementation team and stakeholders.
