Reggio & Co. is growing quickly and looking for another dream teacher to join our team of industry experts in fulfillment of our school’s mission: to help every child reach their maximum capabilities.

This PREK1 Educator will be leading the development in a preschool classroom for children 3-4 years of age, with knowledge of the appropriate milestones for children in this age group. All of our educators have confidence in educating children with special needs and a desire to help the overall functions of the classroom stay organized and running smoothly.

The Reggio Emilia Approach to early childhood education is honored in our classrooms and this Educator will be teaching under the Creative Curriculum, a play-based philosophy that encourages children to make their own discoveries, experience collaboration, and have confidence in their independence.

REQUIRED:

• 1 year of professional experience with young children (preferred: experience with children 2-5 years of age in a play-based preschool setting)

• 90 Hour Certification

• Advocacy in the Reggio Emilia Philosophy or play-based approach to early childhood education

• Successful Passing of State and Federal Criminal Background Checks
   

PREFERRED:
 

• 1 year work experience under the Reggio Emilia philosophy of education

• 1 year experience in educating children with special needs

• College coursework in Education, Psychology or similar studies

• 4-year degree in Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood- Special Education
