Construction Superintendent – New York and New England

Responsibilities

Construction Superintendent – New York and New England

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Coordinate, supervise, and report on daily construction operations and activities.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and time-lines.
• Schedule subcontractors, consultants and vendors to achieve project objectives.
• Schedule and coordinate delivery and installation of all materials and equipment.
• Perform quality control and safety inspections.
• Responsible for daily progress photo documentation.
• Responsible for ensuring all cleaning and safety protocols.
• Coordinate all required 3rd party and local jurisdiction inspections of work in progress.
• Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings.
• Ensure all building and safety codes, safety inspections, local and state regulations are met.
• Communicating project status and detail to the appropriate parties timely.
• Train and mentor internal resources.

Qualifications

Construction Superintendent – New York and New England

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field
• Or five years of construction related experience and/or training
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Read and comprehend technical documents, such as safety regulations, assembly and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Provide clear instructions and explain complex orders
• The ability to transfer knowledge and experience in an instructional capacity
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
