Reporting to the Associate Dean of Student Life, the Director of Student Health Promotion & Wellness Education strategically plans for a campus environment that supports student healthy living and overall well-being. The Director oversees the development of a broad spectrum of initiatives and programs that support physical and mental health based on institutional data, national trends, and knowledge of best evidence-based practices in college health and peer education. The Director serves as an approachable and available resource to faculty, staff, and students on effective health promotion and education, to make policy recommendations, develop interventions, supervise peer educators and provides individual AOD assessments and health behavior coaching.
