Pyramid Foods believes in supporting our local communities and is dedicated to providing our customers and employees quality food and service at the best prices! In this friendly, flexible team environment, you will play an important role in helping us create ads, help promote on social media, and develop new design concepts.
Daily Operations
o Liaising with external print companies on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality.
o Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
o Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites.
o Preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief.
o Conceptualizing the design and layout of ads along with print and outline material using Adobe Creative Suite.
o Work as part of a team with designers, executives etc.
o Knowledge with social media is a bonus.
Company Standards
o Must have graphic designing experience.
o Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality.
o Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
o Ability to interact, communicate and present new ideas.
o Experience with Adobe products including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office products including Excel.
o Highly proficient in all design aspects.
o Professionalism regarding time, costs, and deadlines.
o Excellent verbal and written skills required
o Team environment, must have a positive attitude
o Following all safety guidelines
o Complying with all company policies including following dress code, wearing a name tag, following human resource polices
o Completing all company training as required. Staying up to date with the latest training and knowledge
