Part Time position, scheduled 20 hours per week on the Day Shift with a weekend and holiday commitment on the Atrium West unit
Our Atrium West unit at St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea hospital cares for our patients who need inpatient rehabilitation. These patients could have traumatic brain injuries, cerebral vascular accidents, amputations, debility, poly trauma or spinal cord injuries. This unit has 24 beds and the average length of stay ranges from 12-14 days.
The Registered Nurse Provides quality patient centered care considering age specific, developmental, cultural and spiritual needs through competent clinical practice and application of the nursing process. They consistently integrate concepts of relationship-based care into practice and serves as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / LICENSURE
- Requires current Michigan Nursing License
- Graduation from accredited nursing program
- New hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years
