SC House Calls Hiring for Junior Graphic Designer Job at Columbia, SC Full Time

Seeking a Passionate Junior Graphic Designer that thrives in a fast-paced collaborative team environment.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Create elevated designs with high visual impact, across our variety of brands, products, and services
• A self-starter, gather content and coordinate with key stakeholders from different departments to accomplish project tasks
• Become familiar with and work within brand guidelines, images, components, and overall brand identities of multiple businesses
• Accurately estimates the time required to complete work, and works successfully within time constraints
• High attention to detail with proofreading ability to ensure quality and accurate work ​
• Adjusts designs and copy according to feedback provided by stakeholders and/or team members
• Shares and archives final materials with all team members according to standard operating procedure

Qualifications:

• A Killer portfolio demonstrating your natural talent

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field and/or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years of experience in graphic design

Skills Required:

• Understanding of Design process, quality design work with excellent design and typography skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Establishes solid relationships with a variety of team members
• Has good knowledge of pre-press technologies, printing processes, and digital platforms (Squarespace, Bentobox, etc) and continue educational growth in these areas
• Has exceptional “creative problem-solving”, initiative, and follow-through skills with the ability to think on your feet
• Excellent multitasking skills with the ability to manage several projects at any one time
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Google Suites, Keynote, Microsoft teams, Squarespace
• Stays abreast of current design trends and technologies, including software and hardware

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 – $19.00 per hour
