Scholastic Resources Corp. provides all related services in the school environment. Parents no longer need to worry about finding related services in the evenings, or the embarrassment their child may feel when pulled from a traditional classroom setting, as all services will be provided within a typical classroom setting during the academic part of the school day. Services will be provided in all English subjects, which will help your students succeed in the best learning environment. All students will be placed in an appropriate tracked class, tailored to fit their individual needs. These programs will include small class sizes, a no homework policy, and all feature dynamic and engaging curriculums.

These programs will benefit all students with IEPs, as they will be able to receive the individualized attention they need. The curriculums will be tailored to fit each student’s individual learning needs and help them succeed in a small classroom environment. If your students require any extra services such as speech, OT, PT, counseling, or 1:1 Para, we can also provide those services. If you feel any of your students do not currently have an IEP and could benefit from one, we can advocate along with the parent for your student to help them receive the services that would be beneficial for their learning needs.

• Minimum 3 years experience teaching students with special needs.
• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• New York State Certification

Scholastic Resources Corp is a private company that provides all related services in the school environment. This year we are partnering with a small, Jewish, private high school located in Brooklyn, NY. All students who will be attending will have an IEP, and require a learning environment that will best suit their needs. The school is accredited by the State of NY and students graduate with a Regent’s diploma. We are seeking creative and dedicated Special Education Teachers for a small class environment with relevant classroom experience. Teachers are needed for all the following subjects: Science, Math, & ELA.

• Designing curriculum to meet state standards
• Mastering knowledge of specific subject areas in which you are teaching
• Adapting lesson plans as needed to address different learning levels (including writing and implementing recommended goals and objectives for IEPs)
• Preparing class activities to supplement the material and engage students
• Observing individual student performance and progress and reporting observations to parents and school administrators
