Scion Nonprofit Staffing, a full-service national staffing firm, has been engaged to conduct a search for a Graphic Designer for a growing organization in Austin, Texas. If you are a multimedia professional who is passionate about improving K-12 public education in Texas, this is the opportunity for you!
The Graphic Designer will work with the Senior Digital Communications Manager, alongside other members of this team. This person will play a critical role producing digital and print visual assets and marketing collateral. This exciting hybrid, direct-hire opportunity will make a significant contribution to our client’s success!

What you’ll be doing:
- Responsible for data visualization, photo editing, marketing campaign graphics, and web/social media graphics
- Create and design a variety of materials for print and digital collateral on various time frames, including quick turn and long-term projects
- Adhere to established brand guidelines
- Challenge the team to evolve
- Lead presentations of ideas, mood boards, storyboards, and mockups of visual design projects and play a role in managing feedback and approvals
What you need to be successful:
- Experience with graphic design, photography, web design
- Experience working with a creative team environment with a robust background in graphic design
- Knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
- Understanding in working with a wide range of media—including design, photography, and video
- Excellent project management skills
- Possess outstanding typography and layout skills with a keen eye for detail
Compensation:
In additional to working for an organization with a phenomenal mission and positive team-oriented work environment, this opportunity offers a salary range of $80,000-$85,000, dependent on experience, along with a long list of benefits that include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, short/long term disability, and retirement plan!
