The Schultz Campus for Jewish Life is a community center located in West Akron. Our Float Teacher will be responsible for substituting for teachers and/or assisting in classrooms for breaks, lunch periods and nap time. You will also assist with transitioning classes to other areas (gym, pool, or special programs) as well as take inventory and re-supply classrooms with needed supplies.

We pay for CDA certifications for candidates.We pay a $350 sign-on bonus following 90 days of continued employment.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Excellent reading skills

• Strong organization and planning skills

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with infants and toddlers

Education:

• High school diploma

• Associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field

• CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease and Child Abuse Awareness trainings
